Thursday's Wounds

I know these pictures are a little graphic, but I had to put them on here. Braddock has had a
wound everyday this week. He gets into everything!! Yesterday afternoon, he attempted to pull himself up onto one of our kitchen chairs. Unfortunately, his foot slipped and he bit his tongue.
He put two holes in his tongue!!!! He bled constantly for two hours and then finally, it stopped. The funny thing is, he played the whole time he was bleeding. It didn't seem to phase him. I just had to follow him the whole time with a wash cloth and clean up the mess. The joys of being a mom :)

Holy Cow, What is That?!

In case you are wondering, this is a picture I found online of a baby six weeks in the womb.This pic is about what He or She is like inside of me. Yes, Jim and I are pregnant again! Quite a surprise!!! I found out yesterday and about died. I called Jim balling on the phone.He, on the other hand was thrilled. Don't get me wrong, I am very excited, but not looking forward to the nausea. Oh well. I guess that is life. :) Who knew we would have 2 kids under 2 years of age?! Yikes!!!!

Braddock & His New Hair!!

Well, it finally happened! Braddock got a real haircut. Jim got out theclippers and buzzed away! It was great! I was worried at first thatBraddock would freak out at the noise of it, but we just put some cerealon his high chair and he chowed down. I'm sure if I was cutting his hair,it would be a different story. Jim, on the other hand, is pretty heroic inBraddock's eyes. Speaking of which, the morning of Fathers Day, Braddockwas sleeping in between Jim and I because we were in St. George ata condo and we didn't have a crib. Anyway, he woke up, hit Jim on the head,and said "Da-Da". What a perfect day to hear those first words! I'm kind of jealous.

NASTY!

These pics are totally obnoxious, but kind of funny at the same time. A few weeks ago,
Jim and I were at the grocery store and Jim randomly asks Braddock if he wants to get
a toy. I thought that was cute that Jim wanted to do that for him. Meanwhile, Jim runs
to the kids' section and comes back with this HIDEOUS purple rubber thing. A ball or
a truck would have been nice, but what in the world?? Braddock hates it! It jiggles and
moves like it has a million legs. I hate it. To top it off, it smells like grapes and rubber
mixed. Oh well.
To get on with the story, Braddock's Aunti Lyssa came over with her friend Kendra. They
decided to put the thing on his head without him knowing. Apparently, he had no idea. :)

I LOVE YOU, ARIZONA!

A few weeks ago, our family took a trip to Arizona. I miss the valley
already. Anyway, a lot of events took place the week we were there
including: Jerry's Graduation & Ordination, a Going Away Party
for my Mom and Bro.............well I guess that was it, but it felt like a lot was
going on. It was so nice to see all the people that Jim and I grew up with.
At the going away party, Jim went back to his old young self - wrestling
all his old buddies in the pool (acting like he was 14 again). It was pretty
entertaining for us girls to watch though. Jim and I both really miss our home
town, and hope to be back there someday. (Hopefully sooner than later) :)

This is my new car!! It's a brand spankin'new Dodge Charger. I don't have any idea why I
have one. Jim just randomly went and bought me one. Thanks honey! It isn't much of a mommy
vehicle, but I don't mind :). She is awesome!!
